bytes of knowledge Names Michael Galo Chief Operations Officer

Nashville, Tennessee – Michael Galo of Nashville has been named Chief Operations Officer for bytes of knowledge (bok), a Nashville-based provider of business information technology consulting services.

Founded in 1995, the staff at bok offers a full complement of information technology solutions for small and medium business delivered over a variety of technologies tailored to each client. Especially focused on improving the return on investment for technology, bok employs seasoned IT Strategists to design solutions that are closely aligned to the business.  

Its professional services portfolio includes internet strategy (interactive web presence, search engine optimization and management, email marketing), custom application development, network infrastructure design, implementation, and technical support.

Mr. Galo has held various leadership positions in management consulting and in the information technology industry over the past 20 years. In his new role, he will be instrumental in strategic planning, operations management, business development and providing clients with consulting in business process analysis and information technology optimization.

Galo holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The Jack C. Massey School of Business at Belmont University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Originally a native of El Salvador, he has made Nashville his home since 1991.
